Terms & Conditions
What this service is
Contentglitch404 by Sophfree is a done-for-you content automation service. I build a custom system that generates, schedules, and delivers social media content on your behalf — then hand it over to you.
The service operates on a build and handover model. This means I set up your entire automation infrastructure, configure every connected tool, and deliver a working system. Once handed over, the system runs independently. I do not provide ongoing content management, monitoring, or editorial oversight unless you have purchased a separate retainer arrangement.
Day-to-day operation of the system — reviewing output, submitting briefs, maintaining platform credentials — is your responsibility from the point of handover.
Payment
Payment structure depends on your tier:
- Tier 2 — full payment is due upfront before the build begins.
- Tier 3 and Tier 4 — a 50% deposit is required to secure your build slot. The remaining 50% is due on handover, before access to your completed system is provided.
All payments are in GBP. Invoices are issued via email and are due within 7 days of receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. Work does not begin until the applicable payment has cleared.
Support after handover
Every build includes a 6-month support window from the date of handover, with 5 fixed support credits.
A support credit covers one instance of me opening your system — for example:
- Troubleshooting a workflow error
- Updating platform credentials in your automation
- Adjusting a workflow setting or configuration
- Changes to your Buffer posting schedule
- Any technical intervention that requires direct access to your system
Credits are not transferable, do not roll over, and expire at the end of your 6-month support window. Routine content delivery — the system generating and scheduling your monthly content — never uses a credit.
Additional credits can be purchased at any time by emailing studio@contentglitch404.com.
Support is provided via email only. Response times are typically within 2 business days. Support does not include new feature development, platform migrations, or rebuilds — these are scoped and priced separately.
Refunds
The 50% deposit (Tier 3 and 4) is non-refundable once your build call has taken place. The build call is the point at which scoping, configuration planning, and access handovers begin — work that cannot be recovered once completed.
If you cancel before the build call, the deposit will be refunded in full, minus any payment processing fees.
The final 50% payment is due on handover, regardless of whether you choose to use the system after delivery. Handover constitutes completion of the agreed scope of work.
For Tier 2, no refunds are available once the build has begun.
Your data
I take data handling seriously. Any information you provide — including brand details, business information, platform credentials, and content briefs — is used solely for the purpose of delivering your service.
Your data is:
- Stored securely and not shared with third parties except where required to deliver the service (e.g. Airtable, n8n, Cloudinary, Buffer)
- Processed in line with UK GDPR
- Never used for marketing, research, or any purpose outside your service delivery
- Retained for the duration of your support window, then deleted on request
Platform credentials you share (API keys, social media access tokens) are stored only within your own automation system — not held centrally by Sophfree. You retain ownership and can revoke access at any time.
For full details, see the Privacy Policy.
Your responsibilities
For the build to go smoothly and on time, I need you to:
- Provide accurate brand information, including colours, fonts, and any assets, before or on your build call
- Respond to queries within a reasonable timeframe during the build period — typically 48 hours
- Ensure any assets you supply (logos, fonts, images) are licensed for commercial use. Sophfree accepts no liability for copyright infringement arising from client-supplied materials
- Create and maintain your own accounts for connected platforms (Airtable, n8n, Cloudinary, Buffer, Anthropic) — these are your accounts and your costs
- Provide valid social media account access where required for scheduling
Delays caused by late or incomplete information may push back your handover date. I'll always let you know if this is the case.
Liability
I build carefully and test thoroughly. That said, no automated system is infallible, and I can't guarantee uninterrupted operation of any third-party platform your system depends on.
Sophfree's total liability for any claim arising from this service is limited to the amount you paid for your build. I am not liable for:
- Loss of business, revenue, or data arising from system downtime or errors
- Changes to third-party platforms (API updates, pricing changes, feature removal) that affect your system after handover
- Content generated by AI tools that you choose to publish — you are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it goes live
- Actions taken by social media platforms in response to scheduled content
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.
Ending the arrangement
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time by written notice to the other.
If you terminate before the build is complete:
- Any work completed up to that point is billable at the agreed rate
- The deposit is non-refundable if the build call has already taken place
- Any outstanding balance is due within 14 days of termination
If I terminate — which would only happen in exceptional circumstances such as non-payment or conduct that makes the working relationship untenable — I will give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid amounts for work not yet started.
On termination, all access credentials shared with me should be rotated or revoked at your earliest convenience.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. When I do, I'll update the date at the top of this page and email active clients at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continuing to use the service after that point means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree with a change, you can terminate the agreement before it comes into effect.
The version of these terms in place when you submitted your application is the version that governs your agreement, unless you expressly agree to an update.
Questions about any of the above? Email studio@contentglitch404.com and I'll answer directly.
